A finalist in the European Blues Challenge in 2015, the Leif de Leeuw Band is the ultimate European jam band! Leif has been voted best blues rock guitarist in the Benelux six times in a row, and Sem Jansen is the winner of the TV show “Hit the Road.” The six band members deliver a show full of fiery guitar solos, with two dueling drummers, ripping Hammond sounds, where improvisation is paramount in songs with a strong narrative. The band has built a solid international reputation over a decade of touring throughout Europe, America and China. After playing an Allman Brothers Band tribute tour in the Netherlands and Europe in 2018 and 2019, the band's “new” direction became evident. A lineup with two drummers, Hammond, bass, two electric guitars, and, in addition, Sem's beautiful raw vocals always refers back to Southern Rock. In fact, there is room for improvisation in every song, which makes sure that no two performances by the band are the same.
