In the summer of 1984, singer Steve Overland and his guitarist brother Chris (both former members of Wildlife) joined drummer Pete Jupp and bassist Merv Goldsworthy (formerly of Diamond Head and Samson) to form FM. Thanks to their talent, they quickly secured a contract with CBS and headed to Germany for a series of shows with Meat Loaf. More touring followed (Tina Turner, Foreigner and Gary Moore), along with the release of their debut album Indiscreet 1988, which received great critical acclaim. Their music was inspired by seminal bands such as Free and Bad Company. Over the next nine years, FM solidified their position at the forefront of British melodic rock with numerous headlining tours and joining bands like Status Quo and Whitesnake to promote albums such as Tought it out and Takin' it to the streets, with Andy Barnett replacing the late Chris Overland. Two more albums followed before their 12-year sabbatical hiatus! In 2007, FM were persuaded to return to the stage for a “one-off” headlining performance at Firefest IV in Nottingham Rock City, which sold out completely. This prompted the band to record a new album and, after a return to Firefest in 2009, to continue touring, with Jim Kirkpatrick (Band of Friends) replacing Andy Barnett on lead guitar. Since then, FM have never stopped, headlining tours both in the UK and internationally, as well as performing as special guests on tours with Foreigner, Journey, Thin Lizzy, and Skid Row. In 2018, they released their first-ever live album. In 2024, FM celebrated their 40th anniversary with the release of their 14th studio album, “Old habits die hard”, accompanied, as always, by an extensive schedule of live performances.

The Holy Trinity of Rock'n'roll today. Rock'n'roll as fresh as in the old days, with a touch of blues and just the right amount of soul. Music for those 1000-mile nights on the road. On the scene for more than a decade, their passion for guitar riffs, pressing grooves, the warmth of a real Hammond organ and unmistakable vocals evokes memories of the legendary 1970s. The diversity of their concerts, where one can experience goosebump-inducing epics, introspective psychedelia and thunderous rock'n'roll, is their greatest strength. The Basement Saints are a multinational rock band based in Switzerland. Meeting once a week in the basement as an escape from their full-time job has gradually turned into a full-time professional career drawing large crowds. They are known for their explosive and energetic live shows. Founded by frontman Anton Delen in 2012 as a duo, the band expanded in 2014 with the addition of a drummer. They immediately recorded their first EP Free Souls. Their first album Get Ready was released two years later. They then toured all over Europe, even playing at the Montreux Jazz Festival. After the release of their second album Bohemian Boogie, they took a hiatus. It wasn’t until 2021 that they returned with a new lineup and their third album, Stimulation. They are currently finishing their fourth album, and in Cevio we will definitely hear brand new tracks.
