This small but great open-air festival, "The smallest Big Blues Festival in Switzerland" now in its 23rd year, welcomes national and international performers of blues and blues-rock music to the stages of the most beautiful and evocative squares in the Maggia Valley. Thanks to the original combination of quality music and evocative settings, the event has definitely carved out a place for itself among the region's major music festivals. Scheduled over five weeks between July and August are some 20 concerts on the squares of the Vallemaggia villages.
